RD (or Raia Drogasil) is the largest drugstore company in Latin America by revenue and market capitalization. With headquarters in São Paulo, RD has more than 2,500 stores in 24 Brazilian states. Working with E3, our COOLNOMIX® distribution partner in Brazil RD were delighted to achieve a 16% overall energy and carbon footprint reduction at two pilot drugstores in 2020. E3 estimated that air conditioning accounts for about 70% of the electricity consumption in eachdrugstore, meaning that the average cooling system saving is about 23%. 

Following these compelling pilots E3 is almost halfway through the deployment of over 6,500 COOLNOMIX® units required across the full range of RD drugstores.
