COOLNOMIX® keeps gamers cool, reduces running costs for i-One Café in Hong Kong

With 11 Internet gaming sites across Hong Kong i-One Cafe were looking for a solution that would keep their gamers cool while reducing running costs. Happily, Smartvote Limited responded to the challenge and installed COOLNOMIX® for a one-year trial on air-conditioning units at the main i-One gaming site in Causeway Bay. The result was an astonishing 24% reduction in the overall electricity charges.
Following this initial trial Smartvote were asked to equip all i-One Internet Cafe air conditioning units with COOLNOMIX®. In all, with average energy savings of 20% 72 COOLNOMIX® units are now operating with Daikin manufactured air conditioning systems to keep customers cool in the highly charged, energy intensive world of Internet gaming.
